Basket washing and brine filling machine

In this thesis, a basket washing and brine-filling machine is design and manufactured for white cheese that is already produced but needs to be conditioned for packaging. The software is developed excluding CIP function and the full assembly of the machine is accomplished. The machine consist of three main stages. First stage is basket washing which includes three sub-processes as prewashing, chemical washing and rinse. The second step is cheese filling and the final stage is brine filling. Different sensors and actuators are used for the desired function of the machine. As a result, designed basket washing and brine filling machine contribute significant benefit to the serial mass production of the white cheese manufacturing in terms of hygiene, reduction of unit cost and manufacturing rate increase.
