Abstract (EN)

Ceramic production has continuously improved since the production of objects using soil. Functionality, efficiency, durability and less cost are aimed in terms of the production of objects and daily use objects, so the production process has also changed. Scientific developments positively affected the extraction of raw materials from natüre and their processing and production. Instead of high-cost raw materials, raw materials with more natural resources and obtained cheaper have been included in ceramic production. Inorganic raw materials create physical and visual effects on mud and glaze. These effects different from depending on the amount in the mud and glaze, the firing temperature and the atmosphere of the firing environment. In this study; A transparent glaze recipe was created to use casting mud in Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics Department. In addition to this recipe, opacifying and matting raw materials were used and their effects were examined. These raw materials were added to transparent glazes and casting mud in certain proportions, grouped with less and more used raw materials in glaze production and tests were carried out in the triple increasing system. Glaze trials, which were found successful in terms of productivity and artistic effect, were tried and tested on three dimensional objects.
