Abstract (EN)
In this thesis which has got a title of ?Metals in Mixed-Media Ceramic Sculptures?, usage of metals as an additional media in ceramics sculptures has been examined. With the presentation of materials? properties, the artists who have used metals and ceramic together in their art pieces, have been studied. Also original art works are presented as practices. Besides aesthetical combination of metal and ceramic, the similarities and differences of physical and chemical properties, production and shaping processes of these materials are studied from the point of scientific sources, material selection, processes. And at the practices section, original art pieces have been presented.
