Abstract (EN)
With the discovery of ceramic glaze, oxides were used as colorants. Today, in addition to oxidizing oxides, ceramic paints are also used. It is preferred because of the decorative effects of colored glazes and because it gives visual effects to the surface. It is preferred in industrial production with its dispersing properties in glaze. In the thesis research, the color effects of color oxides used in ceramic glazes and the carbonates and salts of these oxides were investigated in the transparent glaze. Its research consists of four parts. The sections include the definition of ceramic glaze, the definition of raw materials used in history, and some of the artists working with colored glazes. Glaze trials were carried out with increasing amounts of irrigated and refractory grinding at 1000oC and 1200oC temperatures. In the firing results, different temperature and grinding effects have been formed. Positive results were obtained by multiplying the prescriptions were used in personal applications.
