Abstract (EN)

The Venus Flytrap plant, which was examinated with the A/r/tography method, allowed the observation of many textures and emotions in the vital functions it performs. The visual and tactile textures targeted in the study process were reflected on the ceramic surface and the information about the plant was transferred to the reader in the application section with the selected A/r/tography method. The study titled "Texture on Ceramics: The Study of Venus Flytrap Plant With A/r/tography Method" consists of three parts In the first part called ceramics and texture; the definition and history of ceramics are explained and the relationship of nature with art is mentioned. For the examination of the concept of texture in ceramics; the definition and types of texture are included. Artists who used textures in ceramics were mentioned. In the second part, the a/r/tography method usage is discussed and researcher part of that method is defined. Examples of studies using the a/r/tography method, which is an art-based research method, are given. In the third part; information about the Venus flytrap plant was given and original applications in ceramics using a/r/tography method in the context of texture concept were included in the study.
