Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the novel Kızıl Kırgın'ın Kadınları Marguva by Şerbanu Beysenova, who is particularly prominent in Kazakh literature with her female characters, was examined using the structure-path method. The structure-path method is an approach based on narratology that aims to reveal the structural elements of texts. In this context, the aim of the study is to analyze the structure of the novel Kızıl Kırgın'ın Kadınları Marguva by considering many features such as character functions, plot, and theme, and to reveal the basic structural features of the work. Şerbanu Beysenova is one of the important writers of Kazakh literature, especially with the successful female characters she includes in her novels and stories. Her novel, The Women of the Red Kirgin, Marguva, deals with the difficult struggles of people accused by Stalin during the Soviet regime, especially between 1937 and 1938, and the intellectuals and their families who were forced to leave behind, with the accusation and the stigma of being the family of an enemy of the people. As a result of the study, it was determined that the novel titled Kızıl Kırgın'ın Kadınları Marguva reflects the historical, sociological and cultural structure of Kazakh society. Beyond being an individual story, the novel stands out as a narrative that carries the memory and identity of a nation. While the concept of national identity is deeply processed with the internal and social conflicts experienced by the characters; the subjects of heroism and struggle are integrated with values such as love of country, resistance and sacrifice in the historical context. This study aims to reveal how historical consciousness, sociological texture and cultural identity in Kazakh literature are represented at the narrative level through the structural analysis of the novel "Kızıl Kırgın'ın Kadınları Marguva".
