Investment advice in capital markets

Investment advice is a service, in which personal investment recommendations, that are about capital market instruments or their issuers, are given to customers according to their personal and financial conditions by corporations, which are authorized by the Capital Markets Board of Turkey. Investment advice, originated from US law, is regulated with the Capital Markets Board of Turkey's communiqués in Turkish law. In this study, investment advice service is examined in the light of the Capital Market Act (no. 6362) and regulations which are issued by the Capital Market Board of Turkey. Within this context, principals, regarding respective service, investment advice agreement, legal characteristics, subject, form and contracting parties of the agreement and liability for investment advice relation are the main titles of this study.
