Abstract (EN)
While capital continues to accumulate through nature and labor of the worker, this situation shapes the relationship between nature, society and capital in different stages of accumulation. The capital which wants to increase its profitability and accumulation wants to reach cheap nature and this leads it to natural assets. This trend in unison with economic and political support of the state increases the pressure of capitalists on privatization and commercialization of environmental commons. The fencing (limiting access to them in favor of capital) of these commons which are vital importance for all segments of society leads to environmental inequalities and the growth of discrimination between social classes. Fencing or fencing initiatives of the commons have an impact on the relationships established by local communities with economic, politic, social and cultural relations with commons. Restricting access to commons in favor of capital leads to environmental inequalities and deepening of existing discriminations. In this thesis study, fencing coastal and forestry commons in Avsallar by tourism capital with the support of public policies and the effects of this process on both commons and users of commons are examined.
