Comparison of Servet-i Fünûn and second new poem

Servet-i Fünûn and Second New poem has an important place on Turkish Poem due to their radical attitudes. Writings of Servet-i Fünûn and Second New poets are one each valuable documents that tell this radical change at the first-attempt. Their poems which are in parallel in patches with opinions at writings are important arguments for this. Our study searched the ?The Adventure of Modern Turkish Poem? from Tanzimat Literature to Second New Poem. At this adventure the points which are Servet-i Fünûn and Second New Poem close up and diverge, are ascertained. During the study, properties of Servet-i Fünûn and Second New poem have been confirmed substantially once again despite searches which had been made Our study consists of three main parts. In ?introduction? part, comments which are related to ?poem? concept were made. First main part has a title called ?Tradition?. In this part, the definition of ?tradition? was made by analyzing the tradition concept of some domestic and foreign artists and researchers from Tanzimat. Second main part has a title called ?Servet-i Fünûn and characteristics of Second New Poet?. In this part, main properties of each two poems were ascertained. Third main part has a title called ?Comparison of Servet-i Fünûn and Second New Poem?. In this part forming medium, critiques received, language usage form, connection with woman and erotism, verse type used, image usage, connection with music, take advantage of picture which are related to each two poems were analyzed in the case of subheadings. Similar and different points of each two poems were introduced. In the ?conclusion? part, evaluations which are related to ?tradition? were made and results of the search were given.
