An application for detecting and preventing voice-sided telecommunication fraud

In this thesis, the identification of cheating systems in the telecommunication sector and their prevention with the methods introduced in the study are explained. How the local operator firms are affected by these methods, what kind of precautions are taken, what national firms are working in this field are examined. How the methods used in the thesis are reflected financially to the end user and the scenarios he/she encounters during the phone calls are mentioned. However, the attacks of fraudsters towards the end user and the reactions of the end users are also detailed. Notifications of Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) to companies that have fixed Telecom Service (STH) licenses against mandatory rules in recent years were evaluated.
