The analysis of Sevinç ÇOKUM novels in terms of terms of theme and structire

The novel, which takes time to find a place in literary dictionaries, has progressed rapidly with the feature of answering people's curiosity needs. This progress creates the need for the novel to be divided into genres and elements over time. As a fictional genre, the novel increases its impact on people through telling the events that have happened or likely to happen. It enters Turkish literature with Tanzimat showing the characteristic of being the most popular genre in time due to its function. The novel, which is divided into periods with regards to content and technique, takes shape according to the political and social environment of each period. Sevinç Çokum, one of the most influential and prolific writers of the recent period, generally deals with social and political issues in her works until 2000, she changes her understanding of novel and turns to more individual subjects after 2000. This work analyzes Sevinç Çokum's Deli Zamanlar, Gece Rüzgarları, Kırmalı Etekler, Tren Burdan Geçmiyor, Arada Kalmış Tebessüm, Çok Yapraklı İlişkiler, Gözyaşı Çeşmesi ve Lacivert Taşı novels in terms of structure and theme.
