Abstract (EN)

In order to avoid various infections during surgical operations, the antibiotics are used. Caesarean operations are one of these kinds of operations. The amount of antibiotics found in the blood after the operation is one of the most important parameters to detect the duration of the transition of the antibiotics to breast milk of the nursing women because, exposure of the newborn to the antibiotics is an unwanted situation.In this work, the detection of the amount cefazolin, cefuroxime and ceftriaxon antibiotics, given to patients during operations, in the breast milk and blood of the women is made. Blood and first breast milk after giving birth are analyzed by HPLC technique.As the result of the analysis, the ratios in the plasma are found to be; 7,531±0,632 µg/ml for cefazolin, 6,493±0,431 µg/ml for cefuroxime, 14,487±0,637 µg/ml for ceftriaxon. The amount of the antibiotics detected in the breast milk is found to be very small. The ratios in the milk are found to be; 1.769±0,210 µg/ml for cefazolin, 2,246±0,315 µg/ml for cefuroxime and 0,928±0,187 µg/ml for ceftriaxon.
