On intuitionistic fuzzy sets

In this thesis, the definition of intuitionistic fuzzy set is discussed. Operations, level sets, geometric interpretation of operators, cartesian products, necessity and probability operations defined over these sets are examined. It consists of eight sections. In the first section ,the intuitionistic fuzzy logic theory and the purpose of this thesis are presented. In the second section, the literature research on the intuitionistic fuzzy set theory is given. In the third section,the intuitionistic fuzzy set, operations over these sets and properties of operations are included. In the fourth and the fifth sections, level sets on the intuitionistic and the geometric interpretation of the operation are examined. In the sixth and seventh sections, five types of Cartesian products the necessity and the possibility operations defined on these sets are examined. In the last section, the conclusions and suggestions are given.
