Özet (EN)

There is no previous study about the prescribing ratio of interacting drugs together, based on the data of Turkish Social Security Institution. In this study some of the commonly prescribed cardiovascular drugs examined for their interactions and ratio of combined prescribing of those drugs are also studied. Therefore we put forward the barcode numbers of interacting drugs to Social Security Institution as a table. We requested the quantity of the prescriptions on which this drugs were prescribed together or single for some selected months.According to data we got, we studied out the percentage of combined prescribing and we interpret it as some tables and graphics. So if we look upon the significant amounts, approximately 7.5% of whole Verapamil is prescribing together with Beta Blockers, 10,5% of İnsuline is prescribing with Beta Blockers, 17% of Ca Canal Blockers is prescribing with Beta Blockers, 1% of Siklosporine is prescribing with Verapamil, 1% of Digoxine is prescribing with Omeprazole and 7% of Verapamil is prescribing with Digoxin. This results shows that frequently the doctors are compulsorily prescribing this interacted drugs together. And this, points out the importance of synthesizing new drugs and necessity of in-service training of doctors about dosage adjustment of interacting drugs.
