Abstract (EN)

Since the day that human beings exist, clothing is one of the elements that reflect the whole lifestyle of the individual and the society in which he lives, including elements such as tradition, tradition, social structure, culture, income level. In their weddings, funerals, daily life, in the public or private area, they take different clothing styles with the influence of the society they live in. The change, which is inevitable for living organisms over time, changes the way of clothing together with the human. Especially in today's world, the effects of increased mechanization as a result of the rapid advancement of technology can be clearly seen in the clothing sector. However, despite this change, reflections of the past are frequently used in the sector in question. The continuity of these traditions is particularly evident in processing and dyeing techniques. Shibori technique, which started to be used in Japan, known for its dedication to traditions, spread to many countries of the world. The application of this still widely used art to wearable products is the subject of this study.
