Especially, some of the narratives within the sources of hadith in different madhabs are same but some are completely different from each other. In Sunni hadith sources, there are chapters of ?The Book of Medicine or The Medicine of the Prophet?. Other than that, some books were published in the name of ?Medicine of the Prophet? seperately. However, in respect to the importance he pays for the conditions for the acceptance of hadith and the narrative, Shia?s opinion for Medicine and his evaluations of Medicine of the Prophet are worth examining. In this respect, within the framework of the books named ?The Medicine of Imams?, the subject of ?Medicine of the Prophet? is examined according to Shia?s point of view. In this respect, within the framework of the books named ?The Medicine of Imams?; The Narratives of Rukye (Healing Hadiths) which is a subtopic of ?Medicine of the Prophet? is evaluated through comparison between two major schools of Islamic tradion of thought which are based on Sunni and Shia hadith sources. With respect to the medical advices of Hz. Mohammed, the reason behind the value of the Hadiths of Rukye in Shia and Shiis? understanding of wisdom and religious value for Rukye; are clarified according to the narratives within the books of this field.Key words: Sunnis, Shia, Medicine of the Prophet, Rukye
