Abstract (EN)

Examining a text's semantic world and the formal characteristics that shape it as a whole contributes to its understanding. In this context, this study focuses on the literary world of Sibel K. Türker, who holds a significant place in contemporary Turkish literature, particularly with her novels and short stories. Due to the scope of the study, the research is structured around the author's novels. For this purpose, the author's novels Şair Öldü, Meryem’in Biricik Hayatı, Burada Kalmak, Mecnun Kelebekler, Hayatı Sevme Hastalığı, Benim Bütün Günahlarım, and Cennette Gibiyim are examined in terms of structure and theme. Accordingly, within the scope of this study, qualitative research methods are utilized to analyze the content and formal characteristics of these novels through a comparative approach. In this way, the fundamental elements that constitute the structural and thematic integrity of the works are identified; the relationships between these elements and their functions within the overall narrative are discussed. Furthermore, the study aims to fill a gap in the literature in this field and to provide an original contribution to the area.
