The relation between cyberbullying, job satisfaction and organizational commitment

Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research, is to measure the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees exposed to cyberbullying at work, and at the same time examine the relationship between cyberbullying, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Survey method has used in the research. Surveys consist of three different scales and sections where demographic questions are included. For the collection of data, Workplace Cyberbullying Victimization developed by Kayman (2017), Job Satisfaction Scale adapted to Turkish by Z. Kuşluvan and S. Kuşluvan (2005) and Organizational Commitment Scale adapted to Turkish by Şeşen (2010) have used. The population for this research is 176 enterprises which are still active in the Manisa Industrial Park (MIP) in 2017-2018. The sample size for this research consists of 457 employees selected from this population. IBM SPSS 20.0 statistical program has used for analysing the data. In the study, Reliability Analysis, Factor Analysis, Regression Analysis, Correlation Analysis, Independent Sample T-test, One Way ANOVA have performed in addition to descriptive statistics. According to the results of the research; there is a statistically linear and negative relationship between employees exposure to cyberbullying and job satisfaction but it has found that there was no statistically significant relationship between employees exposure to cyberbullying and their organizational commitment. The sub-dimension of the cyberbullying; it has been found out that there is a statistically linear and negative relationship between employees exposure to communication and employee exposure to social media attacks with job satisfaction. Again, the sub-dimension of the cyberbullying; there is a linear and positive relationship between employees exposure to overtime and organizational commitment but there is a linear and negative relationship between employees exposure to social media exposure and organizational commitment. At the same time, it has examined whether employees exposure to cyberbullying vary according to demographic characteristics.
