Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationships examınıng the relatıon shıps among cyberbullyıng perpetratıon cyberbullyıng vıctımızatıon locus of control and some demographıc varıables. The research includes high school students in Şanlıurfa. The research sample includes 539 students who have been in eight different high schools. The data are obtained by 'Cyber Victim/Bully Scale','RIDKO (Internal) Self-External Locus of Control'and 'Demographic Variables Form'. The data are analyzed one-way Anova, independent samples t- test and correlation analysis technique. The results of statistical analysis, indicated that males are more cyberbullying perpetrators than females, but in terms of locus of control there is no difference. It is determined that cyberbullying, virtual bullying and locus of control do not differ by the level of the class and age. It's seen that the children whose fathers are low educated are more liable to cyberbullying perpetration and victimization and any significant differences in terms of locus of control can not be found. According to mothers' education level and parents being together or separated there was no difference in terms of locus of control. When we look into the way that usage of internet in one time and the time spent it is seen that the students who surf the internet engage in less cyberbullying perpetration and victimization. But in terms of locus of control there is no difference in cyberbullying perpetration an victimization. It is determined that there is a positive relation between cyberbullying perpetration and victimization. The students who have more external locus of control are exposed to cyberbullying more.
