Officers of Erzincan according to "Sicill-i Ahvâl" records

In this study, we have tried to introduce the officials borned in Erzincan based on Sicill-i Ahval Registers which is too important place entering into the register belongs to Ottoman officials in near age period.Entering into the registers is based on too old periods. Tradition of entering into the registers which comes from Roma, Sasani and Selçuklu Government periods had been continued Ottoman Period, too. In general, these letters were belongs to Sultans, dynasty members and top bureaucrats. But because of increase in the numbers of the officials, entering into the registers became general including all officials during II. Abdülhamid Period. It has been seen that these letters includes lots of information like appointment of the officials, salaries and transport operations.
