Abstract (EN)

As the general subject of this thesis is two relief gladiators work and gladiator games in Anatolia in the light of the two work, and in this regard is the emerging Romanization agonistic festivals. The thesis consists of five chapters as a basis. In the first chapter which is found in the ancient city of Side relief gladiator general assessment was made on the works. Gladiator relief work, inscriptions and reliefs on the columns were examined in detail. The inscriptions on the basis of these columns has been made for what purpose.Gladiator games in the second section mentioned. And which are given detailed information about the world of gladiators. Romanization explained in detail in the third section. Examined the size and purpose of the Romanization in Anatolia. Social structure created by the cult and the cult of the Emperor explained.In the fourth chapter in Anatolia, which is regulated in the process of Romanization festivals, explained the purposes of the festivals. Agonistic festivals held in the main subject of the thesis and in Side Romanization provides information about the process. The fifth and last chapter, made a general assessment of the thesis subject. During the development of some specific works of art of relief in the Roman and world of the ancient city of Side. Thesis concluded with an overview of the art of relief.
