Abstract (EN)

Insurance sector in Turkey is one of the most important branches of the service sector in terms of premiums and number of policies that generate employment and development in terms of location is an open industry. Compared with Western states, the quantity and quality reputation in Turkey, said that the delayed transition to a system such as insurance. However, today's point and the growth of the sector every day is promising. The insurance sector and citizens' perspective on insurance coverage vary from country to country. This difference sometimes stems from income level differences and sometimes life style. As insurance is a discipline that minimizes risks and protects the welfare of people in ensuring the safety of people's property and life, it has a structure that can be associated with development. In this study, Turkey's development in the insurance sector have been analyzed the relationship between human development index and the causal relationship between human development index and insurance sectors were investigated. To determine the relationship between the total premium production and human development index in the insurance sector insurance of the 1985-2017 period, Turkey, the result data are used and obtained for development and growth, has shown that a one-way causal relationship between insurance sector with the human development index.
