National spirit reflected in poems of Şayloobek Düyşeyev

Kyrgyzstan gained its independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. The Kyrgyz people especially paid great attention to the issue of national identity and national consciousness in the early years of their independence. Various artists engaged in those valuable fields were supported and encouraged. The poet Şayloobek Düyşeyev is one of the artists who did various works about the Kyrgyz national identity. This study has been prepared so as to introduce the poet Şayloobek Düyşeyev, who has gained his fame and popularity thanks to his national consciousness in the land of Kyrgyzstan, and his poems about national identity. Şayloobek Düyşeyev, who has never been the subject of any academic studies in Turkey before, has been presented to the scientific world as the first research thesis conducted in this field. The thesis consists of Introduction, Şayloobek Düyşeyev, Translation of Poems of Shayloobek Duysheyev into Turkish language, Analysis and Conclusion sections respectively. In the introduction section, general information about the sophisticated oral literature of Kyrgyz literature and the development process of its written literature are both explained. In the section about Şayloobek Düyşeyev, his literary pespective has been tried to be revealed through the examination of the poet's literary identity, accompanied by details about his life and works. As for the sections of the Translation of Shayloobek Duyşeyev's Poems into Turkish and Analysis, the analysis of the poems has been carried out. The features and concepts including national identity in his poems of Şayloobek Düyşeyev are studied through the transfer and analysis of each poem. In this chapter, the concepts of national identity and patriotism in the field of poetry are elaborately discussed.
