Abstract (EN)

Every country, even the region, where Pistacia forms are grown claims that the forms they cultivate have superior characteristics than others. For this purpose, researchers were carry out many analyzes and determinations. In this thesis study, it is aimed to compare the forms of Pistacia veraL. species that cultivated in Gaziantep and Siirt region. Analyzes were carried out by taking samples of soil, andrecium, leaf and fruit from location where the pistacia growing intensely. For ecological comparisons, soil samples were analyzed for organic matter, salt and pH contents. The aim of comparing pollen samples was to compare the measurements and images of pollen grains. Leaf, fruit shell and cores were compared for antioxidant activity and for content properties by using water and methanol extracts. For this purpose, DPPH, FRAP and iron chelating properties as well as total phenolic and total flavonoid contents were determined. Finally, the phylogenetic relationship between the species was determined by determining the DNA sequences obtained from the leaf samples. In addition to the ecological and edaphic factors, different results were obtained depending on the trees from which the samples were taken. The results were compared according to the part used and the properties of the region. As a result of analyzes, the results show that the values can be changed depending on the soil, using part, and the extractions.
