Özet (EN)

In this research, In this study, it is aimed to improve the surface properties of microscope slide glass materials by coating them with silane and metal oxide solutions using the sol-gel method. The importance of the study is to determine suitable contents to increase the hardness and scratch resistance of the developed surfaces of glass materials and apply on them. In the study, the solutions prepared by mixing different amounts of various silanes and metal oxides using the sol-gel method were coated on the surfaces of glass materials with the help of a wet film applicator. Light transmittance, haze, contact angle and pencil hardness tests were applied to examine the properties of the coated surfaces. Haze %0,39 to %37,3, light transmittance %85 to %91,7, contact angle between 45,16° and 115,44°, and pencil harndness test values between 2H and 6H were found. According to the value ranges found, the samples with group 4 solutions; SR13 and SR 14 samples with 6H and SR11 and SR12 samples with 5H values were observed as the hardest samples.
