Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this thesis is; The purpose of adding silicon dioxide to 100% non-woven polypropylene (PP) fabric and 100% cotton woven fabric agricultural textile products currently used in the field of agriculture is to evaluate the aging life with these new product aging tests. Fabric samples were coated with 100 micron silicon dioxide and the print fixation process was carried out. Three different fabric samples, nine fabrics with UV additives, nine fabrics without UV additives and cotton fabric (284 g/m2), were printed with 3 different silicon dioxide additives: 2%, 3% and 5%. After the printing process, all fabric samples were subjected to UV Aging. Then, the results obtained were evaluated and some samples from these results were subjected to FT-IR, TGA, DSC tests. The data obtained as a result of these analyzes were graphed and interpreted. In addition, air permeability tests were also carried out along with tensile and tensile strength tests of all fabric samples. After all the analysis and test results are interpreted, the samples are kept under a scanning electron microscope (SEM). EDS point analysis of the elements contained in the chemical substances of the powders used as additives in the samples was performed and the percentage distribution properties of the elements were obtained. The data obtained showed that non-woven polypropylene and cotton woven agricultural textiles not treated with silica had sufficient strength, air permeability and aging criteria.
