Abstract (EN)

With global warming and climate change, grain is an important concern for human life has been confirmed once again. Water and wheat is expected to be two basic needs of humanity in the future. The precautions to be taken for efficient use of water and wheat is the most important agenda item of the international meetings. Researches show that loses, nearly 13 million tons due to improper storage of grain, nearly 100 million tons of grain due to pests per year worldwide.The aim of this study is to make easier to perform transactions such as intake, sale, and to make operations such as disinfection, transfer automatically by converting the existing silo systems in turkey to air compressor system. Thus, it is aimed to minimize difficulties in storage and losses resulting from the storage. As a result of this study, temperature and humidity values of grain stored in silos were measured via an electronic circuit and it was provided to store the grain at the appropriate temperature and humidity via the PC software. The silo automation system was performed by reporting the intake, sale, transfer and disinfection operations of grain via the PC software.
