The evaluation of Silsiletü'l -Arabic which is an Arabic teaching set

This research consists of an introduction and three parts. In the first part of the research, language was stressed and were given language definitions by many academicians and linguist. Following this, comprehensive information was given about the foreign language. Furthermore, the information was given about fundamental elements of language which are essential for the process of education/teaching and the role of this. The materials which are essential for language teaching and their importance as well as their preparation principles were touched on. In the first part, the information about the method of foreign language; the teahing of foreign language in Turkey; the teaching of Arabic and historical development of Arabic teaching in Turkey was given. In historical development part, how Turkish people first met Arabic language was explained with dates and periods. In the second part, the evaluation of textbook in the teaching of foreign language was touched and syllabus was explained in detail.Final and the third part, all of the series of Silsiletü'l-Arabic which is an Arabic teaching set and is main topic of our research were examined. The essential explanations about parts were given; and also all of the statements and new words in the series were pointed on. The writers' names and works in the annotations were given exactly in the first quotation and after the writers' surnames were just written. The abbreviations used in the work were explained in the part of abbreviations.
