Abstract (EN)
Rehabilitation is defined as an activity enabling a person to perform required mental or physical function. Rehabilitation engineering and use of biomedical signals in rehabilitation are quite promising in recent research studies. Rehabilitation robotics is required to improve quality of elderly people life or easing life of disabled person. Some manipulative operations are necessary especially for daily living activities. Research in this study is directed to get biomedical signals for rehabilitation use. Initially EMG based system is considered with a wrist exerciser. Measurements are taken by volunteer students. Then IMU's (XSens system) are placed, and the experiments with a wrist exerciser are performed. Biomedical signals are intended to understand signals nature with signal processing in wrist rehabilitation use. Finally IMU's are fitted to exoskeleton to improve exoskeleton with robotic rehabilitation.
