The analysis of literary arts in the rhetoric field (Beyan and bedî parts of rhetoric) used in Sinan Pasha?s Maârifnâme

This thesis aims to detect the qualifications of Sinan Pasha?s esthetic prose and manifest the main value of his work named Maârifnâme. This work that studied the writing style of the author ?which is named estetic prose- is confined with the literary arts about ?beyan and bedi? parts of the rhetoric.Sinan Pahsa is one of the important persons prominent at science and policy areas in The Otoman Empire, in the 15th century. There is only a few articles and theses about the Maârifnâme and authorship of Pahsa, who is a estetic prose master at the same time.On the other hand, there is no work that studied the qualifications of estetic prose of Otoman Literature or Classical Turkish Prose named ?inşâ? and how to use the literary arts in this style. The works in this area are only analyses about the rhetoric of Quran.In this context we assorted the arts in the ?beyan and bedi? parts of rhetoric considering the books of Classical Turkish Rhetoric and we tried to find to what extent these literary arts in the Maârifnâme are used.
