Examination of spare time obstacles in the participation of teachers in the branches of physical education, music, visual arts in Sincan province example of Sincan district

This research was conducted to determine the obstacles that interfere with secondary and high school teachers' attendance of recreational activities and see if these obstacles show alteration according to various demographical specifications. Survey study includes 85 music instructors, 191 physical education instructors and 94 visual arts instructors and in total of 340 teachers. Research sample includes 114 physical education, 61 music and 63 visual arts teachers in total of 238 volunteers. "Leisure Constraints Questionnaire" scale Alexandris and Carroll (1997) which was translated to Turkish by Karaküçük and Gürbüz (2007) and later retested by Gürbüz and Ark (2012) through factor structure and confirmatory factor analyze "Boş Zaman Engelleri Ölçeği-18'' (Spare Time Obstacles Scale-18) was used as a data collection tool. Frequency distribution, T-Test and OneWay ANOVA analysis were used as statistical methods in the assessments of research outcomes. When the research results were examined, significant differences were found between P.E ,and Visual Arts, Music teachers in designated sub-factors and the reasons of these significant differences were resulted mostly from "facility and time" sub-dimensions. Gender, level of welfare, marital status and doing exercise were found as determinative in the emergence of the significant differences.
