Abstract (EN)

At the present time, welding is essential technic among the manufacturing methods in the industry. The welding has application area in all areas where iron-based or non-ferrous materials are used nowadays. It is used very different area so by thinking both working conditions and features of material and we achieve this aim with very different techniques. In this study, pulsed MIG / MAG method(P-GMAW) of MIG / MAG welding method from the group of welding-based welding technologies. The P-GMAW, has achieved repeatable welding quality, efficiency and ease of use in the last few years and reduced method the operator error to the minimum. With this method, superior aspects of spray arc metal conduction, which is eliminating the disadvantages of globular metal conduction is examined in detail. In the literature, the method, also referred to as P-GMAW, is presented integrated with experimental and theoretical research. The effect of variables which are directly affecting welding penetration in a synergic P-GMAW, S690QL, high-strength low-alloy steel which is used extensively in the construction machinery industry and XAR400, known for its resistance to abrasion are used for welding. The welding was made T-joint with 6 mm sheet plate. Wire feed speed, arc length and arc dynamics were chosen as welding variables and other variables were kept constant in all welding processes. At the experimental results, penetration values were determined by the influence of weld parameters by taking macro photograph of weld bead. Generally; increased penetration with increasing wire feed speed, increased penetration with arc length reduction, decreased arc length and a slight decrease in penetration were observed. Experimental and theoretical studies have been presented, and this study gives a new light on the progress of the developing P-GMAW.
