Abstract (EN)

The concept of synesthesia is a concept that medical science has focused on for more than 300 years, and in its most general form, it expresses a perception in which colors are sounds and shapes turn into taste. A planned composition is the most important element that ensures the integrity of a work of art. When this is evaluated, it can be said that synesthetic perception feeds creativity in the work of art. A good artist must be have sensitive and have deep senses in order to create original works. Many geniuses have unusually different abilities. Many artists who have made a name for themselves in history, have been useful in developing the art sector, and have a synesthetic perception, have been revealed by researches. The relationship between the senses is the situation that affects the daily lives of synesthete artists the most. Because taste, smell, hearing, sight, such as the senses of every human has directed his life. In some artists, two or four senses can work together. For example, it is known that the most common sounds that painters hear are to perceive their colors and visualize them. In this study, the effects of psycho-neurological conditions, which are the source of producing the work of art, on the work of art are explained, based on the synesthetic perspective. In addition, the works of famous artists such as Carol Steen and Vincent Van Gogh were examined. Key Words : Art , Paint , Synesthesia , Sense
