Özet (EN)

Correlations Among The Height Growth and Some Ecological Features Related to The Maritime Pine Stands in Sinop-Bektasa This study aims to determine the correlations among the height growth and some soil and land form features related to the Maritime Pine stands in Sinop. 145 soil samples collected from 35 sample plots in maritime pine stands in Sinop. Age, diameter and top height of the sample plots were measured. Also, vegetation samples were collected from sample plots. Some soil characteristics such as soil type, soil reaction, organic matter, water holding capacity etc. Were determined by analyzing of the soil samples. Productivity/site quality of the each sample plots was determined using the yield table for the maritime pine. Three productivity classes have been determined. These are classified as poor site, average site and rich site. Statistical analyses for the relations between site index and some edaphic and physiographic factors revealed followings each sample plot: There is a positive correlation between site quality and silt, clay, soil organic matter and FSK in Sinop. There is a negative correlation between site quality and land altitude, aspect and sand Keywords: Maritime Pine, Site Index, Edaphic and Physiographic Factors, Site Productivity
