Abstract (EN)
The Erfelek Waterfalls located within the borders of the Tatlıca Village of the Sinop City Erfelek District were examined in term of physicochemical water quality. This study was done between 1 March and 1 September 2017. In this process, water samples were taken from 3 different stations of the waterfalls every months; throughout 6 months. Parameters such as temperature, oxygen saturation, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, ORP and pH are measured by multifunction measuring instrument at the station. Also nitrite, nitrate, ammonium, silicon, phosphate, sulphate, total organic matter and total hardness were analyzed in the laboratory. According to the results obtained, Erfelek Waterfalls located within the borders of Tatlıca Village of Sinop Erfelek Waterfalls give first class values about oxygen saturation, dissolved oxygen, nitrate and sulphate and give second class values about ammonium and nitrite in terms of Quality Criteria according to Classes of Continent Water Resources. Also according to hardness values are in very hard water group.
