SUMMARY THE EVALUATION OF SUPPLY RESOURCES OF SİNOP IN TERMS OF TURKISH TOURISM Keywords: Geography of Tourism, Tourism Supply, Tourism Deamend, Sinop, Turkish Tourism Nowadays most of the countries, especially developing ones deal with serious problems in terms of economy. The main factor of this problem is insufficient extent of financial constribution. The whole world has been considering tourism as an lucrative sector. Beginning from the middle of twentieth contury tourism has been an attractive marketplace which has economic, social, cultural and anyother charecteristics. Many countries have made use of this sector and underdeveloped countries have been taking tourism as a way of economic acsess. As for this study, it includes the supply resources of Sinop in terms of Turkish Tourism. The aim of this study is to determine the touristical resources of Sinop (natural, historical, cultural, traditions, health, mountain, plateau, congress, ect.) in detail, to assess these resources, to indicate the problems in touristic development of the city and to be able to find out suggestions related to these problems. This study consists of three parts: The first one includes the definitation and importance of supply and devand concepts in detail. The second part is about the potential situation of Sinop in terms of various resources (natural, historical, cultural, traditions, health, mountain, plateau, congress.) the third part the first section determines the role and the inportance of Sinop's supply resources. The second section is about the problems the city face in development stage such as an adequecy of season, substructure, environment, mansioning, transportation and insufficiency of educated personnel. In conclusion and suggestion part, the database of this research has ben modified to concrete offers. The method used for this study is the collectron of documental data resource. That is the compliment of various written articles, inscriptions, book information written by the exclusive instutions. Futhermore, there had been an interwiev with the representative of city tourism information directory related to the subject. As for the outcome of this study, it has been provided that Sinop has an important potential in terms of supply resources and can have a remarkable role in terms of Turkish tourism.
