The bryophyte flora of Sinop penincula

This study aims to reveal the bryophyte flora of the Sinop Peninsula. 36 different sampling points were determined to reflect the vegetation types at field trips organised in the different seasons, between 2015 and 2016. As a result of the evaluation of 406 collected samples, 21 species of 16 genera belonging to 16 families from Marchantiophyta (Liverworts), 100 species of 62 genera belonging to 26 families from Bryophyta (mosses), 2 species of 2 genera belonging to 2 families from Anthocerotophyta (Hornworts) were observed. In total, 123 specific and infraspecific taxa belonging to 44 families and 80 genera were identified. Among these, 18 taxa are new to 3th square according to Henderson (1961) grid system. Taxa listed according to the systematic hierarchy were presented by data locality, distributions, some ecological features and life forms in the floristic list.
