Corporate academies applications and the effect on talent management: Allianz Academy and İnci Academy

Nowadays, having knowledge of current affairs and following the technological developments becomes significant for corporate and individual achievement with ever changing rules and circumstances. In fact, staying with up-to-date information is of the essence to adapt changing world. Although companies develop many methods for skill getting activities enabling the flow of information, they also keep searching for different paths. Recently, company academies equipped with trainings rise as a solution. There are some points that will be deeply evaluated in this study: conseption of company academies in Turkey, analysis of in which stage they are, to what extent they take actions, the goal of academies and applied practices for their goals. The thesis consists of three chapters. In the first two chapters that form the conceptual framework, the concepts of company academies and talent management are explained. The third part is the application part of the thesis. This research also includes the vision of company academies, studies for education & training and talent management. Concordantly, two academies in Turkey (Allianz Academy and Inci Academy) and their influences on talent management have been evaluated.
