Abstract (EN)

Circulation pumps those consisting of open impeller vanes have a wide spred use like vekiele cooling water pumps, wasching machines, dish-waschers and vidanjor be cause of their easy manufacturing, low cast and long life the most part of these pumps is their vanes conseguently in this thesis 5 vane pumps have been examined and theoretical and expermental researches have been done first, the best vane profile is examined by manufacturing forword impeller, backvard impeler and straight impeller vanes and experimenting on these. Experimantal data has beenexamined graphs and results have been interpreted in both automotive industry and house hold industry fluid temperature is different so, in addition in the experiments water is heated to differnet temperatures. That means, the effects of heated water temperature on flow, presure power and efficiency have been examined the relations between temperature and these have been discussed. In this experimental investagation at first the formation of the clearance effect is explained the information about the working principles of open impeller pumps is outlined and the flow of fluid through the impeller is investigated. Since all of system characteristics of on open impeller pump on the characteristics of on open impeller pump on the characteristics of impeller, the carrying impeller theory is depend derived. As the impeller is apartratting in apump, the forces acting on rotating elements are studied, particularly the concept of impulse force acting upon impeller is investigated. Before studding the effect of clearance losses, the available literature on the subject is briefly given.
