Determination of current situation and credit use of animal production facilities in central district of Sivas

In this study, the current situation of the enterprises that make animal production in Sivas central district and their credit usage are discussed. The data used in the study were collected from 92 enterprises engaged in animal production with the survey method in the central district of Sivas. Socio-economic characteristics, current assets, membership status of producer organizations and support policies, general information on animal expenditure items and animal husbandry and their financing status of enterprises in the research region were examined. It has been determined that 78.26% of producers are members of producer organizations. It has been determined that the reason for the non-membership of the producers is 45,00% due to the fact that producers, producer organizations are not beneficial. It has been determined that feed expenses take priority in the cost items of the enterprises. It can be said that the production can be continued with the support provided by the state in the field of animal husbandry in addition to the increase in memberships to the organizations in order to continue and improve the animal husbandry activity of the producers, as well as their awareness of allocating their earnings to their activities.
