Abstract (EN)

Sivas, cohere bathroom culture offects the lives of people living thereat the highest level, is acting or very important role in terms of batharchitecture among Turkish bathrooms. The continuity of the bathroomculture by the camman people is a social phenomenon increasing thepermance of the bathrooms.İn our research, Sivas Bathrooms, some of which become a subjectto researches and mast of which are stil kepping their mystery, will bestudied. Such mentloned building or remains will be deseried in terms oftheir specialities as architectural and building elments, city or their positionon the field, the relation between topography, organization of the site,degorativr elements, installation of water and heating apparatus and withinthe light of the information gathered by this way, the status of Sivasbathrooms among Turkish bathroom architecture will be tried to find out.İn this research, by the help of the period?s different written sources, itis arimed to prave both available and disappeared Sivas bathrooms and tomake a complete and healthy analysis. İt is another important matto to bringup the Turkish period bathrooms located in the centre of Sivas, ors a period,the top border is the callarpse pf Otoman Empire and the astablishment oftha Turkish Republic. İn historical meaning, the lowest border is notrestricted.There are 9 bathrooms which are completely healty or party healthythat are able to stand till today. İn addition to this, the names of 15bathrooms which are mentioned in the sources are praved. The building areexamined in are basic titles whichare their names, locations anddeseriptions, finndinf the titles which are their namers, locations anddescriptions that they have, theire position of today theit, external sight,plans and crossutts., decorationv, materiah, and tecniques of the walls,problems, comparison and avolution and bibliography.
