Özet (EN)
Education is one of the most basic repulsive power for development and improvement of a nation. Accordingly, all studies which aims to improve the efficiency of education establishments support our education system. This study is performed in this manner to calculate the efficiency of the secondary education establishments of Sivas. Data Envelopment Analysis is used as efficiency measuring method, which is a techinal efficiency analysis that deals with many inputs and many outputs simultaneously and allows to make relative comparisons between enterprises. This study differs from other studies since it takes all kinds of schools (vocational, anatolian, science, private, multi programme, teacher, trade, religious high school, communication) into account. By the result of all detailed analysis that is carried out for each school; the information brought into school administrators, local education authority or other related chairs will help to identify the numbers of needed classes and teachers for increasing the quality of education.
