In this thesis, Hubuyar KORUCU mansion in the province of Sivas which reflects the characteristics of time was built when Ottoman Empire entered westernization process called late Ottoman period is considered. Investigating the status of the mansion today, revealing the original version, restoration, conservation and development of recommendations for how to set an example for similar studies made in this study is the main aim of the thesis. Comparative study of the traditional houses in the province of Sivas and historical researches made at the scope of this study and Hubuyar KORUCU mansion?s original condition is determined. An appropriate function is advised by evaluating obtained datas and needs of the Sivas province. At the result of the study, Sivas Province Housing Typology revealed and Hubuyar KORUCU mansion?s survey, restitution and restoration projects are obtained. Thus, the first important step was taken in the direction of transferring the mansion to future generations.
