Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to contribute to the potential social responsibility projects in the future by examining the social problem dimensions of the ORBIS project, which is one of the best social responsibility initiatives implemented in the civil aviation sector. The aim of this study is to determine the degree of compliance of the ORBIS project with United Nations with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. In the research, the literature on corporate social responsibility was examined, the operation of the civil aviation sector was mentioned, and the aim, scope and research method of the research were mentioned. In the analysis section, the data compiled in relation to the ORBIS project by considering the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals are examined through the qualitative analysis method, thematic analysis, and the extent to which the ORBIS project overlaps with these objectives is revealed. According to the results of the research, ORBIS project coincides with the sustainability targets listed as no poverty, good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality and partnerships for the goals. Ultimately, social welfare has been broadly contributed to in line with sustainability objectives.
