Abstract (EN)
Aviation has become one of the world?s most important transportation methods showing an extreme high rate of growth in the last one hundred years. Since the very first days of its practice, firstly the interaction between aviation and airspace was discussed between lawyers in the field of international law; but immediately, air law was born as a multidisciplinary field. Concerning the development of the aviation as a technology-intensive operation, the aim of the air law was not only limited to track these advancements and to build the legal superstructure. On the contrary, it has played an active role in the development of a safe, secure, efficient and economical culture of aviation. The purpose of this study is to give general information to the reader on this subject by reviewing both multilateral and bilateral agreements in the field of air law and by analyzing the structure and practice of international aviation organizations.
