Abstract (EN)
This study includes drainage geochemistry of Gözeli vicinity. Geological units of the study area are represented from old to young by Pütürge Metamorfits (Permo-Carboniferous); Guleman Ophiolites (Jurassic-Lower Creataceous); Elazığ Magmatits (Upper Cretaceous); Maden Complexs (Middle Eocene) and Alluvium (Quaternary).Drainage systems are accur Kürt Stream and İringil Stream which are located on East Anatolian Fault Zone (NE-SW). The known Fe, Mn, Cu mineralizations were observed in the South east of Canuşağı Villiage as lensoid and stratiform bodies in mudstone from Maden Complex. The main are minerals are pyrolusite, hematite, pyrite, limonite and carbonate minerals of copper.Stream sediments samples were taken from the study area, and a total of 53 samples were sieved to two different size fraction (-80 and -200 mesh). Two digestion methods(3HCI-HNO3 ve HF- HNO3?HCI) were used to elements analysis by ICP-OES methods. Both methods were correlated and higher concentrations of nearly all elements except for Au are typically found in the finest grain (size fraction, -200 mesh). It shows that the high metal concentrations in fine size fractions may be associate with ion exchanged capacity and adsorbed of metals.According to possitive correlation coefficients were detected three groups of metal distributions. 1) Ni-Co-Cu 2)Mo-Zn-Ag-Ba-Cd 3) Fe-Ti-V-As-Sb-Sc. Especially, high possitive correlation coeficients were detected between Fe, V, Ti, Cd and REE (Rare Earth Elements). In the study area, high geochemical anomalies (As, Cd, Sb, Se) mainly in the ephemeral streams, extend several hudreds of meters downstream from the known Cu-Fe mineralization. The other anomalies were detected arund of unknown mineralizations tribulate of the Gök, Köy and İringil streams. These results may indicate probably Cu, Fe, Mn mineralizations in the Köy Dere and Gök Dere area.Key Words: Geochemistry, Gözeli, Sivrice, Stream sediment
