The evaluation of pollution and effects in Hazar Lake basin, under Hazar Lake basin management plan

In this study, evaluation of pollution and the effects in the Sivrice Hazar Lake is aimed to develop recommendations regarding the Basin Management Plan. In the study, primarily; legislation, competent institutions and general practices of basins in the world and Turkey are examined. In the study area of the Hazar Lake; by examining pollution factors in the scope the borders of the basin; the information are given about physical, social, economic and urban properties of basin. Possibilities and problems are detected from the information and assessments of Hazar Lake Basin and proposal objectives and strategies identified from them. In the last section; under the headings of Hazar Lake Basin and planning approaches, achieved results and recommendations are given.
