The proposal for the restoration of si?vri?hi?sar ibrahim bulgurcu house

The main topic of this graduation thesis is the İbrahim Bulgurcu House located at the Sivrihisar District of the Province of Eskişehir. The goal of the study is to prepare a restoration proposal towards passing on the İbrahim Bulgurcu House to the next generations by conserving its historical and esthetic values. Within the scope of this study, first of all the surveys of the İbrahim Bulgurcu House were drawn up and its documentation was performed. Then the current status of the building as well as the modifications and deformations it has undergone were detected by searching through archives and analyzing the data obtained. During the following stages of this study a restitution project indicating the condition peculiar to the building was prepared. Finally, the physical restoration criteria were put forward by evaluation of the data obtained and then a restoration proposal envisaging the use of the İbrahim Bulgurcu House again as a residence in conformity with the contemporary standards.
