The foundations of internal social structure and foreign policy of Modern Turkey, have been laid by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and after his death protected its general characteristics. Kemalism that gave its color to the Republic of Turkey, has drawn the frame of the regime beginning from constitution, through legal arrangements and the institutions that have been formed. The principles that describe Kemalism, identify the framework of the power relationships and political struggle and form the basis of policy. Together with the efforts of Official ideology towards the settlement of the regime, making opposite political groups to itself ? the others ? anyway, caused to be in a perception looking enemy in continuous vigilance. Those people, adherent of Ataturk and his doctrine, secular people and institutes are ready to take measures against all kinds of internal and external enemies that aim and that likely target to demdish Kemalism regime. As Ataturk said in his ?Speech? a state that has rotten and without foundation internal organization, can not have rooted and robust foreign policy. Turkey has to develop social project that will remove its internal enemies. In case it is able to do this, it can follow up an effective foreign policy within the international system and in stead of integrating with the policies of the west it can follow up a more independent policy.
