Abstract (EN)

Science of marketing which used to deal with only produced products and services before, has today undertaken the mission of bringing nonprofit organizations, ideals and individuals. Political marketing, which basically aims to ensure the adoption of an idea and ideology to voters, has gained importance due to the existence of more than one political structure and leaders under similar and different ideological frameworks in today's world. The subject of the study is to evaluate the effect of distribution and promotion efforts on voters' trust in political party and political leaders. The aim of the study is to determine whether there is a meaningful relationship between the political promotion and distribution efforts of political parties and leaders on the trust felt by public towards them. Participants of the study conducted in Burdur province are individuals from different occupational groups with different demographic and socioeconomic characteristics. Questionnaire method was used in the study. The questionnaire was presented to the participants in certain parts of the province of Burdur and data were collected. SPSS (computer) program was used in the analysis and process of data gathered in the study. Correlation and regression analyzes were performed by the mentioned program and the findings of the study have been determined: Political parties and their leaders should pay attention to means of mass media. According to the findings of this study, the political agenda created by the mass media is being followed by individuals. Among the mass media, television plays the most significant role. Means such as mobile phone messages and e-mail, which provide direct communication with individuals, also affect the decisions of voters. Political songs and folk songs, which are considered within the scope of traditional campaign tools, mostly we observe in electoral processes are not determined as significantly effective. As a result, political parties and leaders aiming to be successful in the elections have to build trust in the voters. Political parties and leaders, shall pay special attention to political promotion and distribution to build confidence in the eyes of voters.
